Police investigate charity box theft

by isleofman.com 9th November 2011

POLICE have released these CCTV pictures of a man they would like to speak to in connection with the theft of a charity box.

The images show a man entering the foyer of the Villa Marina between 8am and 8.30am on Friday, September 23, which is when the charity box was stolen.

Police say they believe the charity box – which was supporting the Joey Dunlop Foundation – contained a reasonable amount of money although the exact amount is unknown.

PC David Baker of the Douglas Neighbourhood Policing Team said he would like to speak to the man pictured, or anyone who can help identify him.

Anyone with information is asked to call Police Headquarters on 01624 631212 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
