KIRK McCarthy has been appointed head of international business development at Duncan Lawrie Private Banking.
Kirk, who is a career banker, held numerous senior appointments at branch and regional level before heading Barclays corporate banking business development team in the Island.
After leaving Barclays Kirk worked as a consultant and he is currently a non-executive director of four Isle of Man managed investment funds.
Kirk said: "Duncan Lawrie has significant expansion plans, and I am truly excited to be joining at this time.
"The international connections I have made over the years will offer a fantastic opportunity to spread the word about Duncan Lawrie - which must surely be one of the best kept secrets in private banking."
