Douglas follows Ramsey's motorhome lead

Douglas Borough Council is creating a facility for motorhome owners at Noble's Park.

It will be available from April to September, and will be based on the one which has operated for a number of years at Mooragh Park in Ramsey.

The idea is to encourage people from all over the Island to vist the capital for long weekends, using the motorhome park as a base.

Chairman of the council's Leisure Services Committee Stephen Pitts says talking to their colleagues in Ramsey convinced them it was a good idea:
