First IOM Disability Awareness Week a success, say organisers

As the Isle of Man's first Disability Awareness Week draws to a close, organisers have been reflecting on the success of it.

Jan Dukes from the Manx Foundation for the Physically Disabled says it's been excellent and they're really happy with how it's all gone.

Also speaking live on Manx Radio from the Joey Dunlop Foundation's Braddan Bridge House was MFPD's access manager Michelle Brady.

She said the Island is ready to embrace "accessible environments" which help people with disabilities be actively part of the community:
