Disability discrimination laws on the way

Moves are being made towards the implementation of the Isle of Man's Disability Discrimination Act, five years after it was passed.

The Department of Social Care has commissioned United Kingdom company Sight and Sound Limited to assess what needs to be done.

Talks were held on Thursday (November 3) with the business community, government departments and the third sector.

Chief executive officer of Sight and Sound Glenn Tookey says it's a step in the right direction:
