THE vending and refreshment company MannVend has been awarded ISO 9001:2008 accreditation for the fourth time.
The re-accreditation process takes place on a three-year cycle, and MannVend have held their accreditation since 2002.
Managing director, Tracey Leahy said, “This accreditation confirms our status as a company capable of internationally recognised standards and we are pleased that our dedication to excellent customer service and quality continues to be acknowledged by ISO”.
For a company to attain the standards demanded by ISO9001:2008, it must commit itself to continual improvement in the performance of its management systems, and to regular surveillance visits by LRQA (Lloyds Register Quality Assurance) officials.
MannVend is the Island’s leading provider of workplace refreshments and is based at Ailsa House on the Spring Valley Industrial Estate. The company, which was established on the Island in 1969 by the Leahy family, remains a family run business and prides itself on the quality of its service.
Tracey Leahy added, “The process is ongoing; we have an embedded culture of continuous improvement which involves analysing and challenging every aspect of MannVend’s operations. Our success in achieving this goal is due to the tremendous dedication and teamwork of everyone in the company.
“We are all justifiably proud of this achievement, which provides our customers with added confidence in their decision to partner with MannVend."
