FOLLOWING a number of years based in the Isle of Man Business Park, Conister Bank has decided to move back into Douglas town centre.
The company announced today that it will have a high profile new headquarters in Victoria Street at Clarendon House with effect from early December.
Conister previously had its offices in Finch Road, Douglas for many years, prior to the decision to move to the Isle of Man Business Park around five years ago.
However, the company wants to be closer to the town centre and the public and needs more space for possible future expansion.
The new, larger offices will feature a number of meeting rooms on the ground floor ensuring that it is easier for customers to talk with staff face-to-face. The heritage of the bank, which was formed in 1935, has also been incorporated into the new offices, with photographs of scenes from the Isle of Man featured throughout the building.
"We are delighted to announce our move to Clarendon House," said managing director, Juan Kelly. "The move to our new premises accommodates the continued growth of the company and being in the central Douglas location is ideal as it will improve the ease and convenience with which our customers can keep in touch with us.
“We look forward to the move and welcoming both new and existing customers to Clarendon House”.
To avoid any disruption for customers, all contact telephone numbers will remain the same. Conister Bank customers do not need to take any action, as all accounts will be unaffected by the move.
