Bus passes remain

by isleofman.com 1st November 2011

Free bus passes will remain in place for Island pensioners and fares for school children will remain either free or subsidized.

That confirmation from the Community, Culture and Leisure Minister Tim Crookall in the House of Keys this morning (Tuesday).

In response to a question from North Douglas MHK Bill Henderson, Mr Crookall said there were no plans to change the eligibility for free passes.

However, a new approach towards free travel will soon be adopted.
