Moore the merrier as he claims Champion of Champions gong

The Isle of Man Clay Pigeon Club hosted the end of season Champion of Champions competition at Meary Veg Santon at the weekend.

The event is held over the five disciplines shot throughout the summer months; Down the Line, English Skeet, Universal Trench, Olympic Skeet and Sporting.

To qualify the shooters must have finished in the top three of any discipline.

John Moore was the most consistent over the five rounds, finishing with an overall total of 338, 24 points ahead of Alan Wade with Stan Cross a further point back in third.

Results- 1st, J Moore 338; 2nd, A Wade 314; 3rd, S Cross 313; 4th, S Skinner 302; 5th, M Walker 301; 6th, J Corkill 296.
