Guernsey Zero-ten under review

by isleofman.com 31st October 2011

Guernsey's Zero-ten corporate tax regime will come under the spotlight again before the end of the year.

The European Union Code of Conduct Group will continue a review into the Channel Island's system, after a meeting of European finance ministers.

The group recently gave the Isle of Man a clean bill of health, following the scrapping of the Attribution Regime for Individuals (ARI).

The ECOFIN meeting takes place on November 30, when the ministers will also consider endorsing Guernsey's Zero-ten regime.

Guernsey's Chief Minister Lyndon Trott has said he is surprised the Code of Conduct Group took the decision concerning the Isle of Man before the ECOFIN meeting.
