Golden Brown at the double for Bacchas

by isleofman.com 29th October 2011

It’s advantage to the champions in the Wi-Manx mixed Premier Division.

That’s after Bacchas A returned to the summit with a 3-1 victory over Valkyrs A in Saturday’s top of the table clash.

Johnny Callow and Jamie Brown (two) scored the goals to earn what could be a crucial victory.

Chris Caldwell replied for Valkyrs.

Celts consolidated fourth spot with a 5-0 win over Valkyrs B – Paul Kelly (two), Christian Steriopolous (two) and Zoe Shimmin the scorers.

Bacchas B were 4-2 winners over Ramsey A, courtesy of strikes from Sean Corlett (two), Karl Moore and Paul Griffiths.

A Nick White penalty and Christina Kermeen goal kept Ramsey in touch for a while as the sides traded four goals in the first half.
