Fire crews assist with Mountain Road collision

FIRE crews from Ramsey and Douglas attended a two vehicle collision on the Mountain Road yesterday (Wednesday) afternoon.

 

Two crews spent an hour and a half at the scene at around 2.38pm helping to free someone trapped in one of the vehicles.


Under the direction of paramedics who were also at the scene the firefighters used rescue equipment to assist in freeing the casualty.

  

A fire engine remained on the scene to ensure the vehicles were removed from the scene.
