There's an opportunity tomorrow (Thursday) to support a local charity by buying fruit and vegetables.
The Motor Neurone Disease Association is holding a Mhelliah at the Creek Inn in Peel.
Mhelliahs are traditionally held at harvest time, with produce being sold at auction to the highest bidder.
Money raised from tomorrow's event will be spent on equipment which will make life easier for motor neurone disease sufferers in the Isle of Man.
Committee member Josie Wade says it's an incredibly difficult condition to live with (listen to audio file below):
The Mhelliah at the Creek starts at 7.30pm, and the organisers say any donations of produce on the night would be very welcome.
