by isleofman.com 26th October 2011

A verdict of accidental death has been recorded at the resumed inquest of a visiting biker from Bristol.

Forty-year-old Justin Winstone suffered severe head injuries when he lost control of his machine at Brandywell, on the morning of Saturday, June 4.

He was riding round the course for the second time in a group of seven friends when the accident happened.

The first of his friends to reach him saw he wasn't breathing, and coroner John Needham concluded death would have been instantaneous.

Mr Winstone was described as a competent and experienced motorcyclist, and Mr Needham expressed his condolences to his family and friends.
