Giving Rushen youth a voice

by isleofman.com 22nd October 2011

A new group hopes to give the young people of Rushen a new voice when it meets for the first time next month.

The Rushen Youth Action Forum is a joint initiative between the three MHKs for the constituency – Phil Gawne, Juan Watterson and Laurence Skelly – as well as young people and other interested parties.

It’s to hold its inaugural meeting at Rushen Youth Club starting at 7pm on Tuesday, November 1.

Mr Skelly says the idea is to complement what’s already available rather than duplicate efforts.
