Valkyrs hit Celts for six

It’s still tight at the top of the Wi-Manx Mixed Premier Division.

Valkyrs A remain a point clear after an impressive 6-0 victory over Celts.

Ollie Webster (two), Leanne Prescott, Greg Miller, Chris Caldwell and Gareth Morris were all on target.

Reigning champions Bacchas A defeated their B side 4-1 to stay second.

Jamie Brown, Johnny Callow (two) and Alex Bell found the net.

Sean Corlett scored for the B side.

Vikings A are up to third after a 3-1 win over Valkyrs B.

Conor Byrne and Katie Errock (two) scored twice with Vic Fearns marking his 40th birthday with the Valkyrs’ goal.

The bottom of the table clash went the way of Ramsey A as goals from Matt Robertson (two), Christina Kermeen and Peter Richardson fired them to a 4-2 win.

Regular scorer Steve Cottier notched both for Saracens.
