Scallop workshop impresses Welsh delegate

Fishermen who ply the Irish sea have been learning the science behind the fish in Port Erin this week.

A three-day Scallop Science Workshop brought together skippers, scientists and conservation experts from the British Isles and further afield, to involve the fishing industry in scientific research.

Chairman of the Welsh Inshore Scallop Association Gareth Willington was impressed with the project:
