JOHN Greenwood, head of Creechurch Capital, will be one of the main speakers at the South African and Hong Kong legs of the International Advisors (IA) QROPS seminars later this year.

IA is the market leader in the international market place and its seminars are seen as both educational and current, ensuring high attendance.

Creechurch Capital, the Isle of Man based investment manager, has a stated aim of attracting new business to the Island and its attendance at these events further underlines this point.

“Since launch we have engaged in numerous off-Island meetings and have received a positive response,” said John Greenwood, CEO at Creechurch Capital.

“Our attendance at major seminars is a natural extension and given the success we have enjoyed to date with QROPS business it is a certainly an area that we can add value.

“Our strategy is both beneficial for Creechurch Capital and the Island overall and we would like to thank the Department of Economic Development for its valuable support.”

The attendance of Creechurch at the seminars coincides with the announcement that it is providing investment services within the recently launched AML Evolution QROPS solution which contains many unique features.

Evolution is a single entry, full-service solution that combines consultancy, asset management, life wraps, tax advice, estate and succession planning and administrative support for clients.

Creechurch Capital joins a number of other high profile names from the Island that are providing services as part of Evolution, namely Boal & Co, QROPS Bureau and Momentum pensions.

Former Department of Economic Development Minister Allan Bell has previously said, “QROPS presents significant advantages for investors around the globe and with more people moving abroad for their retirement years the scheme provides greater investment flexibility.

“The Isle of Man is home to a number of pension providers who are well placed to provide a quality service for QROPS pension schemes.”

John Greenwood added, “It is exciting to be part of the next stage of development of the QROPS market place with Evolution and to have the opportunity to work with relevant specialists both on and off the Island.”
