After conquering Japan, teenage pop sensation Beckii Cruel is set to release her first single in the United Kingdom next week.
Beckii, the alter ego of schoolgirl Rebecca Flint from Laxey, shot to fame by posting videos of herself dancing to Japanese anime songs on YouTube.
They have received around 19 million hits and helped launch her career in the Far East.
The 16-year-old is currently among the top 10 most downloaded artists in Japan and has more than 15,000 followers on Twitter.
Her new song, "You Can't Kiss Me", is released on Monday:
