Manx delegation at regulatory summit

by isleofman.com 19th October 2011

Regulators from the Crown dependencies have met at Gatwick Airport to discuss issues facing the Isle of Man, Jersey and Guernsey.

The gathering was attended by chairman of the Manx Financial Supervision Commission Rosemary Penn, and focussed on international regulatory developments and their potential impact.

Up for discussion were G20 and Financial Stability Board initiatives, as well as issues arising from a review of money laundering and terrorist financing by the Financial Action Task Force.

In a joint statement, the chairs of the three regulatory bodies say the meeting provided an important forum to collectively discuss key issues, and maintain working relationships.
