Health Minister David Anderson has promised Tynwald members he will tell them how much private and NHS work consultants do.
He faced questions on the issue in Tynwald, after South Douglas MHK Kate Beecroft asked him what he was doing to cut waiting times.
Mr Anderson was reluctant to give figures during the sitting yesterday (Tuesday), saying the numbers were different in each case.
But he says he will be able to publish them, and hospital managers keep a close eye on them:
