by isleofman.com 18th October 2011

THE Isle of Man Sporting and Dining Club will stage its own version of “Question of Sport” in an evening hosted by top impressionist Kevin Connolly, star of ‘Dead Ringers’.

Connolly will be bringing with him, amongst others, the voices of Des Lynam, Geoff Boycott, John Motson and Sven Goran Eriksson to the black tie event with teams of guests competing for prizes of a trophy and champagne.

The evening is being sponsored by PwC and will include a champagne reception and four course dinner with wine at the Palace Hotel & Casino.

Ian Clague of PwC Isle of Man, said, “PwC are delighted to be the lead sponsor of Question of Sport and we are sure that it will be a fun and enjoyable evening for all. We are also pleased that the event will help to raise funds and hope that everyone will give generously towards the local good causes."

Tables will be competing as a team and wireless keypad technology will be used to compete interactively. Each round includes the old favourites of ‘Mystery Guest’ and ‘What happened Next?’ As well as the quiz, there will be other games and entertainment to ensure that you and your guests have a lot of fun - no matter how you perform in the quiz!
