Tax breaks for under-strength beers would be good for local breweries, according to the head of Bushy's.
Martin Brunnschweiler says new laws with higher taxes for super-strength brews and lower taxes for beers under 2.8 per cent would make him consider brewing a weaker beer.
However, the regulations, which came into effect in the United Kingdom at the start of this month, don't apply to breweries in the Isle of Man.
