It’s as you were at the top of the Canada Life Premier League.

Old Boys remain on top after a 3-0 victory over Gymns at Blackberry Lane, courtesy of goals from Gary Quirk (two) and Andy Ward.

Reigning champions St George’s continue to look ominous and moved up to third after defeating second placed Laxey 2-1 at Glencrutchery Road.

The game was won by goals from James McStay and Ciaran McNulty with Dave Corlett replying for the Miners, who finished the match with 10 men.

The match was marred by a broken leg sustained by Geordies’ midfielder Neil Brogan.

Rushen saw off Corinthians in resounding fashion.

They were 5-0 victors at Croit Lowey, thanks to goals from Aaron Hawley (two), Steven Riding, Josh Kelly, plus an own goal.

Peel found some form away from home.

A goal in each half from Chris Caine and Liam Harrison fired them to a 2-0 win at Ramsey.

St John’s hit ten at newly promoted Ayre United.

The Glover brothers were the stars with Andy hitting four and Steve a netting hat-trick.

Nick Hurt, Kieran Quinn and Brett Kitching notched the others.

In the FA County Youth Cup, the Isle of Man under 18s battled hard, going down 3-1 to the Manchester League.

Island keeper Adam Killey saved a late penalty to keep the scoreline respectable.
