A Baldrine man who contested last month’s General Election has pleaded not guilty after being accused of making a false statement on his nomination paper.
Fifty-eight year-old Nigel Dobson, who stood unsuccessfully in the constituency of Garff, denied the charge when he appeared before magistrates yesterday afternoon (Wednesday).
Mr Dobson will appear in court again on November the ninth.
