Tributes to former MHK and MLC

Former MHK and MLC Ray Kniveton has died at the age of 78.

Mr Kniveton, who passed away suddenly yesterday evening (Tuesday), was a commissioner from 1988 to 1994 when he was elected to the House of Keys in Onchan.

He served as an MHK until February 1998 when he was elevated to the Legislative Council until standing down in February 2005.

In 2009, he returned to the Commissioners.

Terry Black was a board colleague and attended a meeting with him as recently as Monday evening.
