Capacity crowd hears about marine turbines

Members of the public gathered yesterday to learn more about the opportunity for marine turbines in the Isle of Man.

A spokesman of Marine Current Turbines Ltd gave a presentation and question and answer session for the room, that was packed to capacity.

The talk focused on long-term solutions and energy efficiency, highlighting the hotspots the Isle of Man is surrounded by.

Co-ordinator of Isle of Man Friends of the Earth Phil Corlett said he took a keen interest in the subject:
