Upset at closure of pet cemetery

Animal-lovers in the Island may no longer be able to visit the final resting place of their pets.

It's after the Cronkdhoo pet cemetery in Greeba closed when the land was sold.

It's understood the new owners are developing the site and public access will no longer be allowed.

South Douglas MHK David Cretney has been contacted by people upset at the closure - some still grieving over the loss of much loved pets.

Mr Cretney says one option is for people to remove headstones, memorials and even their animals' remains:
