Harris Selected by English Golf Union

by isleofman.com 7th October 2011

Castletown golfer Tom Harris has been picked for the England "A" squad for the next year.

The 18 year-old is one of just 20 players selected.

Harris finished third in the English County Champion of Champions tournament last year and won the Fairhaven Trophy in late April and the beginning of May.

After four rounds played in windy conditions, he tied with long-time leader Curtis Griffiths thanks to a superb final round of 70.

He won the four hole play-off by one shot.
