Road closures remain in Castletown

ROADS in Castletown are likely to remain closed until at least 4pm today following a serious incident which left a man with head injuries.

 

Bank Street and Malew Street have been closed to the public since the incident happened last night.

 

At around 6.15pm a 42 year old man suffered serious head injuries. He is currently being treated at Noble's Hospital.

 

A 35 year old man has been detained at Police Headquarters.

 

The police have thanked members of the public and local businesses in the area for their understanding and cooperation.
