An artistic tribute has been made to a man who helped preserve vital pieces of Peel's history.
Eddie Leece founded the Leece Museum, which is devoted to objects, photographs and documents relating to the town, in 1984.
He died last year at the age of 92 and, after his funeral, donations in his memory came to nearly ?800.
Curator of the Museum Roy Baker says he knew immediately the money should be spent on a portrait of Mr Leece and he commissioned local artist Sally Black.
The picture has been unveiled in front of Eddie Leece's friends and family, including his wife Jennifer.
Mr Baker says it's an incredible piece of work which Mrs Black painted from a few photographs.
