THE Isle of Man will again host a major global summit on online gaming when the event is staged at Mount Murray in November.
The Online Gaming Summit, which is in its second year, is being hosted by KPMG on Tuesday, November 22.
The summit will address issues that players and service providers should discuss together on how the Isle of Man will continue to compete in the global marketplace. Key stakeholders and lawmakers will also be invited to attend and discuss how to keep the Isle of Man safe and viable.
Russell Kelly from KPMG, the director responsible for egaming services, said, “The e-gaming industry continues to grow and is a major contributor to the Manx economy. It is crucial that the Island stays attractive to the online gaming industry and its jurisdiction for licensing and operating a main player and front-runner within the industry.”
One of the speakers will be e-gaming specialist Archie Watt who spoke recently on the changing e-gaming world, highlighting the importance that everyone needs to remember the USA’s disapproval of online gaming and the recent actions take by the US Government, including Black Friday.
The Isle of Man is determined to remain as one of the safest place to gamble for online players and with this global summit, their commitment is obvious.
