by isleofman.com 3rd October 2011

POLICE are searching for a damaged red Vauxhall Corsa after it was involved in a hit-and-run incident in the early hours of Friday morning.

The driver did not stop after the incident on Queen’s Promenade, Douglas when it collided with three parked vehicles, causing significant damage.

Police said today that they wanted to find the driver and the car. A spokesman said, “Debris left at the scene would indicate that there is likely to be significant damage to the nearside rear of the vehicle.”

Anyone with information as to the owner or location of the vehicle is asked to contact PC280 Robin Arnold at Lord St Police Station on 631212 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111
