The Liberal Vannin Party intends to propose its leader Peter Karran for Chief Minister.
Newly elected South Douglas MHK Kate Beecroft confirmed the position on Manx Radio this morning (Monday).
Mrs Beecroft says the party will back Mr Karran, describing him as the politician with the ‘most integrity and political astuteness in the House of Keys’.
But she insists it’s policies not personalities that matter.
