Morton Hall to host southern plan inquiry

by isleofman.com 2nd October 2011

A public inquiry into the Southern Area Plan gets under way tomorrow (Monday), three years after an initial report on the matter.

Manx National Heritage and developer Hartford Homes are due to give evidence on the first day, as well as a number of individuals.

A series of hearings will last until Friday, October 14, although extra dates have been set aside in case it overruns.

A new strategic plan for the whole of the south will eventually be drawn up.

The inquiry will take place in Castletown's Morton Hall, from 9.30am.
