'Collective leadership' key to Island's success

A leading figure in the finance sector has been looking forward to the election of the Isle of Man's new chief minister.

Mike Fayle, from accountants KPMG, says it's not just about the man or woman appointed to the top job.

He says the team around the chief minister is also extremely important.

Nominations for the top job in Manx politics have to be submitted next Tuesday (October 4), with Ramsey MHK Allan bell the current front runner.

The new chief minister will be elected by Tynwald a week later, on October 11.
