Abacus appoints new client director

ABACUS has appointed Gillian Ralston Jordan as a new client director at the group.

 

Gillian has more than 13 years working in the corporate and trust sector in the Caymen Islands, Barbados and the Isle of Man.

 

She is also a qualified Scottish solicitor, a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners and has held a practising certificate as a solicitor, regulated by the Law Society of Scotland, since 1987.

 

Commenting on her appointment Gillian said: "I am delighted to be joining Abacus. It is a true pleasure to be part of such a professional group. I am already in awe of the company's bespoke systems and pleasant working atmosphere. I look forward to successful times ahead."

 

Chairman of Abacus Chris Talavera said: "Gillian brings with her vast experience of the offshore industry and a comprehensive knowledge of trust and company law - both will prove invaluable to Abacus.

 

"Her ability to develop new business relationships and initiatives will assist in our strategic objectives to further develop our intermediary relationships and drive the business forward with the promotion of our services."
