End-to-End success for Gerrard

Richard Gerrard won Sunday’s Ramsey Bakery End-to-End Walk in a time of six hours, 48 minutes and 54 seconds.

He took the title, finishing ahead of Richard Spenceley (7:01:16) and Michael George (7:16:29).

Sally Walker won the women's race in a fine sixth overall (7:29:54) finishing during the worst of the weather when rain was added to the strong headwinds.

Judith Quane was the second woman home (7:36:12) in seventh overall with Hannah Hunter the third fastest female in 23rd place (8:17:39).
