Title contenders share four goals

by isleofman.com 25th September 2011

Valkyrs A and Vikings A shared four goals in the match of the day in the Wi-Manx Mixed Premier Division on Saturday.

Chris Caldwell and Leanne Prescott were on target for Valkyrs with Connor Byrne netting both for Vikings in the battle of the title contenders.

Reigning champions Bacchas A were pushed hard before emerging 3-2 winners over Celts - Jamie Brown (two) and Richard Le Page their scorers.

Paul Kelly netted a double for Celts.

A Karl Moore hat-trick, plus goals from David Kneale and James Wright, fired a strong Bacchas B side to a 5-1 victory over Saracens – all this after Steve Cottier had given them the lead following a goalless first half.
