Residents of Douglas and Braddan are being asked to keep supporting the kerbside collection scheme once their local authorities take over the funding of it.
Douglas Council and Braddan Commissioners will be doing just that, once goverrment backing ends on October 31.
They've committed ?107,000 between them to fund it until the end of the financial year.
