The chief minister is calling for the Island's voters to turn out in force at Thursday's general election.
Tony Brown is retiring after a 35-year career in Manx politics - 30 of which he spent as the MHK for Castletown.
He's been heartened by the increase in voter numbers, particularly among the Island's 16 and 17-year-olds.
One thousand, two hundred and ninety-seven have registered, up from 724 in 2006.
