Paralympian to give talk at museum

It's 'Sporty Saturday' at the Manx Museum today.

Isle of Man paralympian Ian Sharpe will speak about his sporting career and his hopes for 2012.

His free-to-attend talk starts at 2pm, and is followed by a question and answer session.

Ian has represented Great Britain at the Paralympics on five occasions in both swimming and cycling, winning five silver and five bronze medals.

The talk celebrates the launch, earlier this month, of the new interactive sporting exhibition, 'Our Sporting Life', at the museum.
