Did chairman's nationality force him out?

A local authority chairman who resigned by sending a strongly worded email to his colleagues claims his nationality may have been an issue.

Michael Neary says he had a good a relationship with most of his colleagues on the western board, but complaints from some of them, after he was interviewed on Manx Radio recently, forced him to tender his resignation.

He told Dan Walker his nationality may have played a part:
