Higgins Saddened at Loss of Rally

Manx driver Mark Higgins says he's "gutted" to hear about the cancellation of Rally Isle of Man.

The five-time winner of the event was intending to compete at next months event in what would have been his one and only drive of the year in the British Isles.

He now lives in Wales and has just returned home after winning his second race in China - since landing his phone has been "red hot" with people saddened at the news.

Higgins says the loss of the rally will mean the Isle of Man will miss out from being in front of a global audience:-
