Poll cards distributed to Island voters

by isleofman.com 22nd September 2011

POLL cards will be delivered to all people in the Island who are registered to vote in the House of Keys general election by Tuesday.

The cards provide information about how, when and where to vote and are being distributed from tomorrow (Friday).

Poll cards confirm a voter's name, address and unique electoral number and highlight the location of the relevant polling station and the times when votes can be cast.

Voters are encouraged to take the card with them to the polling station on Election Day – Thursday, September 29.

People can still vote without taking the card provided their name is on the electoral register.

Polling stations across the Island will be open from 8am to 8pm on September 29.

Anyone who is registered to vote but has not received a poll card by Tuesday should contact the voter enquiry helpline on 01624 685754 for more information.
