THE final requisition meeting for Douglas voters takes place tonight (Tuesday) at Douglas Golf Club for the constituency of South Douglas.
It promises to be a well attended meeting with just three candidates contesting the election for two seats. Kate Beecroft of Liberal Vannin is the only challenger against sitting members David Cretney and Bill Malarkey.
With just two days left until election day, tonight’s meeting, starting at 7 pm, is the final one to be staged on the Island and organisers have advised early arrival to ensure admission. It will end no later than 9.30 pm.
