by isleofman.com 21st September 2011

There is a chance to find out more about the causes and symptoms of cancer, in Ramsey today (Wednesday).

The i-Van, operated by the Merseyside and Cheshire Cancer Network, is visiting the Island, on behalf of the Isle of Man Anti-Cancer Association.

The mobile cancer awareness unit will be appearing at a number of locations this week, and is at the Shoprite store in Ramsey today.

Executive officer of Isle of Man Anti-Cancer Theresa Grainger says the drop-in sessions can be very helpful (listen to audio file below):

The i-van will be outside Shoprite in Port Erin tomorrow morning, and the Peel store during the afternoon.

On Friday the venue will be the post office in Regent Street, Douglas all day.
