by isleofman.com 19th September 2011

A CAR park barrier at the Bowl Stadium car park has had to be replaced after an incident of criminal damage.

Police are appealing for witnesses after the barrier was bent completely backwards sometime between 5pm on Friday and early Saturday morning.

The barrier is designed to rise to allow cars to exit the car park off Pulrose Road in Douglas.

PC Damien Cullivan, who is investigating the incident, said: "We urge anyone who may have been in the area or witnessed any suspicious activity to contact the police to help with the enquiries."

Anyone with information is asked to contact PC Cullivan at Lord Street Police Station on 01624 631212.
