Thousand affected by burst water main

The Isle of Man Water and Sewerage Authority says households between Farmhill and the Crosby area could have problems with their water supply this morning (Monday).

A burst main at the Snugborough trading estate means several thousand people can expect to have low pressure, or discoloured supplies.

The authority's chief executive Peter Winstanley explained the position, on Mandate:
