A firefighter was among those taken to Noble's Hospital after a blaze at a block of flats in Douglas early this morning (Wednesday).
Officers are continuing to investigate the fire, which ravaged a first-floor flat and blew out windows on the corner of Lord Street and Barrack Street.
The fireman was showing signs of heat stress, but was later discharged.
Two people were treated for smoke inhalation and another for shock.
Residents of neighbouring properties were also evacuated from the building, but there was only slight smoke damage to other premises.
